A family-run camping & caravan site in the North York Moors

Our campsite is situated in the picturesque village of Thornton le Dale, with its welcoming pubs and tea rooms.

​

We are conveniently located just behind Mathewsons Classic Car Auctions, made famous by the TV programme 'Bangers & Cash'.

​

Dalby Forest is only 2 miles away, offering family-friendly walks and a range of outdoor amenities, including adventure playgrounds, picnic areas, and open woodland.

It's also a mecca for mountain bikers, with routes catering to all levels of experience.

The local bus stop is just 200 yards away, providing easy access to Pickering, Malton, Whitby, Scarborough, York, or Helmsley.

 

Eden Camp and Flamingo Land are also a short drive away.

We pride ourselves on our extremely clean and functional on-site facilities. We offer showers, multiple wash basins, and toilets. Combined with our external washing facilities, you’ll have everything you need to complement your stay at our site.

All pitches have 16A electric hook up and we have Wi-Fi on site.

We also provide storage for bikes or camping equipment while you explore the surrounding area.
