The Tour of Yorkshire 2015 - 01-03 May 15

 

Following on from the unequivical success of the Tour de France Grand Depart in 2014, when Yorkshire shone brighter the Thornton le Dale christmas lights.  The Tour of Yorkshire is now coming to our village.

 

Stage 1 comes so close to Prospect Farm Campsite, you'll be able to hear the wheels spinning and Stage 2 will be just a short drive away, making our campsite an excellent base to explore North Yorkshire, whilst taking in the spectacular endeavours of the best cyclists in the world.

 

Prices at Prospect Farm will remain exactly the same, but you must book a minimum of a 3 day stay.  This is due to the traffic restrictions and road closures in and around the village, in order to accomodate the Tour. 

 

If you are staying at Prospect Farm for the duration of the event, you must arrive before the Grand Depart as coming a going once the race begins will be difficult as thousands of supporters are expected to line the route.

 

When booking your pitch, please make it clear that you are booking for the Tour of Yorkshire and full instructions for your arrival will be given.
